150 out of Mumbai and we are riding through fog and there is a little nip in the air. Glad we left the city early it's a great day to ride.

Riding in the rain on the tour of NH17

We joined Royal Enfield and rode with them on their Tour of NH17. As they say on their website the main idea is to take the scenic route from Mumbai to Goa, the highlight of the ride is to get on your bike and ride during the monsoons, walking through clouds at one moment and strolling on the vast deserted beaches, gorging on strawberries in the ghats one moment while sipping on a hot coffee the other. The ride was even better than expected and we had a blast riding the back roads of Maharastra making our way towards Goa. Must put this on your list of must do rides.

A great ride up amboli ghat in the rain and just checked in and it started pouring cats and dogs. Been a short but super ride today. Tommorrow we hit goa and the kings beer. Ahh

NH17 Ride, primed and ready!

Tomorrow its time to catch up with Vir and the other riders on the NH17 ride to Goa. The temptation to take Sheila for a spin was too much, so Bumblebee gets to rest this ride around. This will be her maiden long ride and I'm looking forward to opening her up - all 600cc's!

Getting ready to ride after the morning briefing by the tour leaders. Clear skies today, but with the sun out it promises to be a hot and sticky day.

One of the riders has taken ill with fever so his bike is loaded on to the support truck while he continues the trip in the support vehicle.
